FAQ

Where are you located?

We are based in North Vancouver, but service all of Vancouver, the lower mainland and all the way through the Sea to Sky corridor.

What sort of restoration do you do?

We restore marble and all other natural stone as well as man-made stone including but not limited to porcelain, ceramic and quartz. We can also quote concrete restoration/polishing as well as grout work refinishing. Projects can be interior or exterior and range in size from single vanities or dining tables, kitchens, full bathrooms, large floor areas, patios, front entrances, garages etc. All of our work is done on-site.

Is there a minimum charge?

Yes. Our minimum charge is typically mobilization plus a half day’s worth of labour which is $495 plus tax.

What is your price per square foot for restoration?

Because each job is different, we recommend booking a site visit to do a proper assessment of the work required in order to provide an accurate quote. All consultations in Vancouver and the lower mainland are complimentary.

Do you sell sealers, polish and other products etc?

No. WesCan Marble & Stone is strictly a service provider. We do not sell any Do-It-Yourself products.

Do you do installation work?

For the most part, No. However, our technicians have 50+ years combined experience with ordering and installing all types of tile, both natural and man-made. Because WesCan Marble has strong relationships with leading tile suppliers and stone fabrication shops, we are in a position to produce quality installations with superior products.

What organizations are you affiliated with?

NFSI – Certified by the National Floor Safety Institute since November 2009 to conduct floor audits for slip resistance. The NFSI became the North American standard for floor slip safety in November 2009. Once we restore floors, we are able to take Wet Static Coefficient of Friction (WSCOF) readings to ensure that your renewed floor is compliant with the NFSI standard for WSCOF of .6 or greater.  WesCan uses the BOT-3000 tribometer to collect the samples and store the data, which is also provided to the client for the files.

HAVAN – Homebuilders Association of Vancouver. At 1100 members strong, HAVAN is recognized as leaders in the homebuilding industry since 1974.
